Here’s a fun trick I use to connect with talent. First, I say hi to them when they walk in the door. I already know their name because it’s been in all the pre-pro decks and it’s on the back of my camera. Everyone likes to hear their own name and it’s a starting point to learning more about them to help them give us the good emotion.
